Originally a small cottage hospital, Earls House has expanded to include an intriguing, newly built development on the same site that will contain the physiotherapy department. The new hospital wing comprises eight angular ‘legs’ that are each separately connected to a central building.

“The geographical location of the area means it is subjected to exceptionally high rainfall, therefore we needed a system that could cope, in order to maintain the overall integrity of the building,” comments Paul Trelease, from Barkley Roofing. “The Deepflow150 from Marley Plumbing and Drainage was the only product we found that could meet our requirements.”

Deepflow150 in black has been installed across the hospital’s new building, injecting a sleek and professional finish, which blends in seamlessly with the recently developed site.

Utilising Life4 technology, Deepflow150 uses a higher specification material to form a thin capping layer on the outside of the gutter or pipe with standard material on the inside, resulting in a more durable product. Life4 products also boast high gloss levels and longer colour retention levels than standard PVCu - particularly in relation to darker colours.

Paul Trelease concludes: “Deepflow150 is a favourite among specifiers and it’s easy to see why. Not only does it provide an exceptionally high flow rate, but it’s easy to install. The innovative ‘easy clip’ technology facilities flexibility, with a simple ‘push and click’ motion sealing the joint, saving installation time.”
