Waterloc Assembly
Waterloc Assembly

Lay Geotextile material, impermeable membrane or both (depending
on the application) over the sand base and the sides of the
excavation. The lower later of Waterloc cells are positioned,
making sure that the edges abut and the corners align with each
other. The cells are then locked together at the intersecting
corners of the upper face with the connector.
The connectors are designed to be fitted 'back-to-back' and can be
configured for use either on an upper face or between layers of
cells. Once the base layer of Waterloc cells are in position and
leveled, successive layers can then be built up using the
connectors between each layer. As each layer is added, the
geotextile or impermeable membrane should be pulled taut and folded
at the corners, backfilling around the edges of the excavation with
stone free soil and granular material. The backfill material should
be lightly compacted at each stage.
