Calendar competition 2009 - Winners announced

Marley Plumbing and Drainage have once again turned their calendar into a competition, allowing anyone in the building industry to enter photographs for the chance to be published within the calendar and win a variety of photographic equipment.
This year's theme was landscapes and a variety of images were entered from across the globe including Kenya and Australia.
The entries were judged on the 10th September by a panel of external judges. Graeme Clarke (author, illustrator, humorist and one of Britain's most popular print-makers).
The overall winner was Mrs. Pat Bricknall (Company Secretary of C J Bricknall, Building Contractors) with a stunning scene of dusk on River Ouse, Stony Stratford. Runners up in the calendar competition included Katrina Hamilton (East Renfrewshire Council) and Colin Brown (First Stop Builders Merchants Ltd)
Next year's theme will be ‘On your travels,' so any good holiday pictures are welcome from a Northumberland beach to the Taj Mahal!
Entry into the 2010 competition will be via the website from January 2009.
