Waterloc cell

The innovative design of Waterloc utilises columns of extruded polypropylene honeycomb structure, already widely used in stormwater storage applications, in a unique combination with injection moulded grids enabling rapid dispersion of water throughout the installation.

Waterloc is strong and lightweight and suitable for pedestrian and lightly trafficked areas. The cells can easily be used in a modular format to for a stormwater storage unit configured to suit the capacity required, soil conditions and the land area available.

Waterloc HD is lightweight (14kg) and suitable for heavy trafficked areas and installations deeper than 2 metres.

Waterloc Connectors

The connectors are designed to be fitted 'back to back' and can be configured for use either on an upper face or between layers of cells. Once the base layer of Waterloc cells are in position and leveled, successive layers can then be built up using the connectors between each layer.

Inlet chamber

As with conventional soakaways, concerns have been expressed over the tendency of the plastic cell type structures to silt up over time with no means of cleaning or removal of debris. This is dependent on site conditions and system design; however use of the new Marley inlet chamber provides a number of benefits over conventional installation methods:

Access to the soakaway for inspection and cleaning

A housing for an optional 400 micron filter and access to the incoming pipe connection

Improved inflow capacity via a single connection to the drainage system

Side Inlet/Outlet Plate

The plate located into the vertical face of the cell to ensure that flow from the inlet pipe into the soakaway is unrestricted.

The Side Plate can also be used as an outlet spigot for an attenuation scheme.

Marley Silt Trap

Debris, such as leaves, grits and gravels should be collected before passing into a soakaway or attenuation installation. The Marley silt trap is a compact 250mm design with an internal baffle to prevent leaves flowing on the surface of the water, and passing directly into the installation.

Gullypac

The Marley Gullypac is a water treatment and filtration unit. A patented product, the gullypac is designed to provide a means of treating, thereby reducing the concentrations of common pollutants within surface run off water from areas such as roadways and carparks. Gullypac uses proven types of filtration media and technologies to greatly reduce the environmentally damaging impact of biological soluble organic compounds, hydrocarbons and common forms of heavy metals. The biological action will also prevent water stagnation occurring within the gullypot during periods of low rainfall.

Gullypac offers a unique, low maintenance, economical solution to the problem of contaminated run off water. Incorporating the Marley Gullypac at key points within a surface water drainage system can also provide a means of carrying out checks on the types and concentrates of pollutants from controlled areas, allowing any necessary remedial action to be taken.

Flowloc

The Flowloc design is based on the proven vortex principle, and enables a near constant discharge rate to be set, independent of the head of water in the tank.

• Heavy duty aluminium flow controller and coupling system, fluoropolymer coated for long service life.
• Available with six pre-set flow regulation rates.
• Installed within a chamber base providing full protection against controller blockage
• Suitable for use with tank depths up to 3m
• All components readily removable from surface for ease of maintenance.
• Flowloc can be installed within a conventional man entry chamber.
