WC connections

Connectors are suitable for use with pans to BS5503/04 and soil pipe to BS EN 1329. They suit WC spigot size of 97 –108mm. These connectors are designed to seal without the use of solvent. A short length of soil pipe will often be required to join the WC pan to the soil stack. The inside of the soil pipe should be reasonably clean and smooth. The connector spigot is pushed into the soil pipe. Ensure that the pan spigot is centrally aligned with the connector and push it fully in through the sealing flanges. Always ensure that the sealing flanges fold inwards as shown in figure 1. to effect a positive seal. To ease fitting onto either the pan spigot or the soil pipe, wet the outside of the pan spigot or the inside of the soil pipe with clean water. Do not use other lubricants.
