Q: What is the best location to site a fan?

A: Ideally a fan should be positioned as high as possible and opposite the source of air replacement (for example a window) to ensure good air circulation. Kitchen fans should not be positioned where they will be subject to heat in excess of 40 degrees C (for example over a cooker)
