Marley adds Flowloc control device to Waterloc range

Marley Plumbing and Drainage introduces Flowloc, an innovative and robust flow control device, to its successful Waterloc stormwater management range.

Used as part of an attenuation scheme, Flowloc controls the rate at which water is discharged to a surface water drain or watercourse, ensuring compliance with the outflow rates usually set by the Environment Agency, Local Authority or Water companies.

Available in six pre-set flow rates, ranging from 2l/s to 15l/s, Flowloc allows a near constant discharge rate to be set, independent of the head of water in the tank. The device is installed within a durable chamber base, manufactured from heavy duty polyethylene, and includes a quick release mechanism to allow easy access for maintenance without the need to drain the installation.

The high volume flow filter separates large particles and coarse grit from the incoming water, allowing the finer silts to settle in the chamber base. The filter can be quickly and easily removed from the chamber for maintenance.

The chamber base can be used independently upstream as a 600mm silt trap to protect attenuation or infiltration tanks from debris and silts.

Flowloc can be installed within a conventional man entry chamber or a 600mm riser, which is cut to the required installation depth on site.
