Fire Protection

Pipes must be enclosed within a fire resistant enclosure which extends from floor to ceiling within each storey. The enclosure must have a class 'O' internal surface and have each side formed by a separating wall. Any casing must have ½ hour fire resistance.

Where longer periods of fire resistance are required, Marley fire sleeves, wraps or the universal fire collar can be fitted to provide a fire rating of up to 4 hours.

Pipe Sleeves

Fixed sleeve fixed to soffit of floor.
Fire ratings:

• 55mm & 110mm: 4 hours

Fixed sleeve fixed to exposed fire side on wall.
Fire ratings:

• 55mm & 110mm: 4 hours

Pipe Wraps

Pipe wrap fixed to inside of floor.
Fire ratings:

• 110mm: 4 hours
• 55mm & 160mm: 2 hours

Pipe wrap fixed to inside of wall.
Fire ratings:

• 55mm, 110mm & 160mm: 4 hours

Universal pipe collar

• Sufficient length for 5 X 110mm pipe collars
• Up to 4 hour fire rating
• Designed to be surface mounted
• Dispensing carton for ease of use
• Easy to cut
