Solid Wall perforated pipes
Two sizes of solid wall perforated pipes are available, 82mm and 110mm, which is manufactured to the dimensional requirements of BS EN 1401-1:1999. Both sizes of pipe have two rows of slots that are 60mm apart and 1.75mm wide. Slot lengths vary depending on pipe diameter as detailed in the table below.

Quantum perforated pipes
Three sizes of Quantum Highway perforated pipes are available, 150, 225 and 300mm, half or fully slotted.

The slotted cross sectional area for both solid wall and Quantum pipes exceed the perforation requirements requirements of the Department of Transport 'Specification for Highway Works' 2001. This requires a minimum perforated area of 1000mm2/m irrespective of pipe diameter.
